Martha Spruce, Reiki Master Teacher

Thank you for visiting my website.

I've had the privilege of practicing and teaching Traditional Usui Reiki in mid-coast Maine since 1996.

My professional training also includes Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Craniosacral Therapy.

Training others in Reiki is my strength and my passion: to empower others to learn this healing practice for themselves and their loved ones. I am proud to have taught more students in mid-coast Maine than any other Reiki teacher. I am as comfortable training a stay-at-home mom to treat her toddler as I am mentoring a future Reiki teacher. My students have included many nurses, EMTs, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers. I enjoyed teaching Reiki to Bowdoin College students on campus from 2021 to 2025, helping to lay the groundwork for the program's continued growth. I continue to organize and supervise a weekly campus-based Reiki Clinic for Bowdoin students, the only one of its kind in the country.

I chose Reiki as my life's work because it was a miracle for me, healing my body, mind, and spirit after a bicycle accident at the age of 19 fractured my skull and caused a brain injury.

My Home Clinic

A Safe Sanctuary of Support

I offer Reiki sessions in a comfortable, private, dedicated Reiki room in my home. In addition, I provide Reiki healing to clients in their homes, at the hospital, and at the workplace.

My home also serves as a location for my Reiki classes, with trainings taking place in my living room and Reiki room, and/or in my yard as weather permits.
