Talk About Death
Death is our great teacher: because we have only this short time to live, we could treasure life. We can reduce our fear by talking about death and terminal illness.

I welcome people of all ages and stages of health/illness to talk about death. A Death Cafe, offered without any agenda or point of view, is not therapy or a grief support group. My Death Cafe is an online Zoom meeting four times a year, and occasionally offered in-person at a Brunswick, Maine location. It is sponsored by the Maine Jung Center and registration is available at mainejungcenter.org.

Attendees are often those who wish they could discuss death frankly with their loved ones. This is a place to practice what you might want to say. You are welcome to attend and just listen, if you like.

The Death Cafe is a concept that began in Europe. Learn more about Death Cafes here.
